RECIPE : Sweet Bread with Filling, Easy Pull Apart Bread with Filling (Dough Part I)


Hi! Everyone! In this post I'm gonna share about how to make my family's favorite bread ever. It's quite simple and we get abundant bread with just some ingredients. It's easy to make and you'll find it delicious and light taste. We also can adjust the filling to our preference. Let's get it! We can make around 2 loaf pan full of bread! I just make it into 2 type bread with this dough : the sweet type bread one and the salty type bread! for now, I'll post the sweet type one. For the salty type bread, check it here.



For make this bread, we need :

Ingredients I :
2 cups of all purpose flour and 3/4 cup of flour (adjust, little by little to the dough until the dough became elastic nicely)
1 egg yolk
3 tbsp butter/ margarine
3 tbsp milk powder
a pinch of salt (optional)

Ingredients II (Mix it well and let it seat for 5-10 minutes) :
2 tbsp sugar (optional), because we'll make filling for the bread
1 cup warm water
1tsp yeast

a pinch/ 1/4 tsp baking powder

For filling : 

Sprinkles chocolates
Melted cheese, grated/ cut into small pieces

Topping :
Cheddar cheese/ melted cheese, grated
Sesame seeds

Brushing (mix it well) :
1 egg white
1/2 tsp milk
1 tbs butter

How to make :
1. Mix all ingredients I, except the 3/4 cup flour. Mix it by hand and then add Mix Ingredients II, little by little add flour ( the remaining 3/4 cup flour)
2. Knead it for about 15-20 minutes, add the baking powder, knead it again.
3. Let it seat for 45 minutes or until double in size
4. Grease the loaf pan with some butter/ margarine
5. Make the dough into small round shape (around 8 pieces), for the remaining dough, I'll use them for my seasoned sausages bread here

6. Take one small round shape dough. Flatten the dough, add the filling to your like, sealed it and make it into round shape again.


7. Brush it with mix brushing ingredients


8. Sprinkles with some toppings

9. Let the dough rise again for about 10-15 minutes

10. Preheat the oven at 230 degree celsius

11. Bake it for 15-17 minutes

12. Your bread is ready to be served. Enjoy! You can served it right away from the loaf pan or take it out and served it on serving plate.
