Indonesian Street Food Recipe : Pisang Aroma (Banana Aroma)



I'm so excited to share about my favorite Indonesian street food called Pisang Aroma. It's make from banana (filling) and sugar and when it's fry it's give nice smell/aroma from the filling inside. We also can find it in some traditional market or shop that's mainly sell indonesian street food or dessert or some that's sell it in "gerobak dorong" (display small truck for selling food that push manually by person). I can't get enough of this and i think it's more save if i can make it myself so I try to make it. The most important ingredients that we need to buy especially skin flour/skin wrap that's made from flour. We didn't need to make it, there's traditional market or supermarket that sell it. Just buy more skin wrap to make abundant of this snack. It's easy to make! Let's get it!

Ingredients and preparation:
20 pieces Skin wrap (one package), separate each skin
6-7 ripe bananas, cut it nicely
Granulated sugar (adjust the sweetness to your like, for every wrap i use around 1/2 tsp)
Creme powder ( I'm using fiber creme, just a pinch of it for every wrap, optional, I just add it because I like it, you can skip it)
2-3 tbsp all purpose flour mix with 1/2 cup water accordingly 
Oil for frying

This is the mix flour and water that I use to glue the wrap, make until you find this kind of consistency.


Ripe bananas that I used, it's medium, ripe and sweet, CUT, CUT and CUT nicely!
Fiber Creme/ Creme powder (optional)


Granulated sugar to add sweetness 
Let's make it!
Take one wrap, add banana slice, sugar and creme powder


Roll the wrap, before it's end add flour glue to keep it seal and so do each side (the end of roll)
and it will turn out like this, make more of it until we finish all the wrap!

or we can wrap it like this, also glue the end with the flour mixture to keep it save.







Preheat the frying pan with oil in it, after it's heat enough, fry all the wrap until golden browned. Enjoy!
