Recipe : Mini Bread with Filling!

Yeah! I'm back with 1 dough get 2 recipes again! Here's my 1 dough with 2 recipes from before RECIPE : Sweet Bread with Filling, Easy Pull Apart Bread with Filling (Dough Part I) and Recipe : Seasoned Sausages Bread (Dough Part II).

We can make 2 type of bread with one recipe! We can make more variant of bread this way without being burdened with so many expenses and time we spent to make it! Here's my 2 type bread for this recipe : first is this mini bread with filling, second one is long bread with sesame seeds! Enjoy this 2 recipes! Let's get started!



Now, there's so many bakeries that offer more mini bread with filling. We can choose more bread in one packaged bread. It can be sweet filling or salty type filling. For now, I make 4 different taste (filling) of mini bread :

  1. Banana with sesame seeds topping
  2. Chocolate with chocolate sprinkles and sesame seeds topping
  3. Sausages with sausage, mayo, chili sauce, mustard, melted cheese, herbs and sesame seeds topping
  4. Cheese with melted cheese and sesame seeds topping
For this recipe (we can make around 16 pieces of mini bread with this), we need: 

For the dough:
1 and 3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp butter/ margarine
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tsp instant dry yeast
1 egg yolk
a pinch of salt 
a pinch of baking powder

For filling (add to your like or appropriate amount): 
banana chunks, 
chocolate sprinkles, 
cocktail sausages (any kind of sausages is fine), slice it into small pieces 
melted cheese, grated/ slice it thinly
granulated sugar
mixed herbs
sesame seeds (optional, add it if you feel like it)

For topping (add to your like or appropriate amount): 

chocolate sprinkles, 
cocktail sausages (any kind of sausages is fine), slice it into small pieces 
melted cheese, grated/ slice it thinly
mayonnaise
chili sauce
mustard
mixed herbs
sesame seeds

This one is made for chocolate filling and topping 

For brushing :
1 egg white and 1 or 1/2 tbs milk for brushing

Step by step :

  1. Mix milk, instant yeast and sugar, salt, seat for 5-10 minutes.
  2. In the mixing bowl, add flour, mixed yeast (from step number 1), butter/margarine, egg yolk, knead it well until it became smooth and elastic for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add a pinch of baking powder to the dough, knead it well. 
  4. Leave the dough for 1-2 hours or until it double in size.
  5. Take the dough, cut it into small size, equally (around 16 pieces)

6. Flatten, add filling and make it into round shape. Place it in the baking pan that already grease with butter.


7. Brush the bread. Add topping to each bread according to it's filling.


8. Let it seat for around 5-10 minutes


9. Preheat the oven at 185 degrees celsius for 10 minutes and bake it for 9 minutes.
10. Bake it for 1 minutes at 200 degrees celsius and 10 minutes at 230 degrees celsius or until golden browned. Serve it! Enjoy!
