Cooking Recipe : Cinnamon Rolls and Friends!

Hi! Everyone! In this post, I'd like to share how to make delicious cinnamon roll and friends. I made original cinnamon roll and add other kind of bread that make more variation with the same dough! Hope you like it! Let's get it!
 


For the ingredients, we need :
2-3 cup all purpose flour
1 cup of lukewarm water or lukewarm milk
3 tbs sugar
1 tsp instant yeast
2-3 tbs butter or margarine
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
a pinch of salt (optional)

For the filling, we need :
1-2 tbs cinnamon powder
1 tbs butter or margarine
3 tbs Grated cheese
1-2 tbs sprinkles chocolate

For topping or sprinkles :
1-2 tbs sesame seeds
1-2 tbs sprinkles chocolate

For brushing :
1 tbs milk or 1 egg white

Let's make it!

  • First prepare big bowl. In the big bowl :
  1. Add 1 cup lukewarm water or lukewarm milk to the bowl, add instant yeast and sugar, mix it well, wait for 5 minutes and then
  2. Add all purpose flour, butter or margarine, vanilla extract, salt and egg yolk, mix it well
  3. Knead all the ingredients into smooth and elastic dough for about 10-15 minutes
  4. Let the dough rest for 1 to 2 hour or until double in size.
  • For filling : mix cinnamon powder with butter or margarine. For cheese and sprinkles chocolate, leave it as it is. We can add them to the dough later
  • Prepare your pan, grease with some butter or margarine
  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees
  • For cinnamon roll : Rolling the dough into flatten square shape, add cinnamon filling, roll it out and then cut it into pieces.
  • For bun shape : flatten the dough, add filling to your liking (grated cheese, sprinkles chocolate or no filling at all). Close the dough and make it rounder. Push the center of the bun with your forefinger (make a hole), I find it make the bun come out nicely after baking ( I watched it in one of korean food show).
  • Brush your bread with milk or egg white, sprinkles with sesame seeds and sprinkle chocolates

Let the dough rise again for about 10-15 minutes

Bake your bread for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy! Just eat a piece of it and it come out soft and fluffy, and it's smell nice with spices!
